Karunaprabha is a Triratna order member living in Pune, India. Here she talks about her life, about Dr Ambedkar, and about her work with the Green Tara Foundation which helps young girls and women in ten slum districts in Pune. She loves her work her, and says she has benefitted so much from contact with the Dharma in her life she really wants to give back - as she says, “we have compassion - but we must express it somewhere!”

Just before Nepal’s second earthquake, director Karunamati wrote from the Green Tara Trust:

“Thank you, everyone, for your ongoing and generous support. It is having an incredible effect both on the moral of the Nepalese team, as well as giving much needed hope to the local community in Pharping where we work.”

Green Tara Trust write to thank you for astonishing amounts of money donated in just one week, by individuals, by the UK’s Karuna Trust and by Karuna Germany:
