Music at the Buddhafield Festival!

By Centre Team on Sun, 7 Jul, 2013 - 19:20
One of the best features of the Buddhafield Festival is its music scene. Day and (especially!) night you can hear a wonderfully eclectic range of live performances, with plenty of spontaneous jams and happenings around the fringes too.

See the full line-up below for the live music programme or over on the main Buddhafield website.

Today’s little taster features The Turbans, who’ll be playing traditional folk music from Egypt, Yemen, Turkey, Israel, Ireland, all the way...
The SoundCloud content at https://soundcloud.com/the-turbans/boli-boli-1 is not available, or it is set to private.

Buddhafield Week - Part II

By Candradasa on Sun, 7 Jul, 2013 - 18:25As you may have read over on Triratna News, it’s been a strong time of late at Buddhafield, the Triratna project we have been featuring this summer in the run-up to their annual festival from July 17th-21st. As promised, all this week we’re having a second set of features highlighting the best of the community there, and we hope to bring you coverage (rural broadband permitting!) from some of the festival itself.

I’ve been a consistent Buddhafield photographer since about 2010, when I bought a new Canon SX210 compact. I started because I was aware of a very serious lack of photos about the Buddhafield Café, with which I’ve volunteered and worked for about 14 years. It was a bold vision, with...
