Adhisthana launches intensive women's and men’s Dharma Training Courses

By lokabandhu on Thu, 23 Jan, 2014 - 10:59Vidyaruchi writes with news of two full-time intensive Dharma Training Courses being launched at Adhisthana, Triratna’s new retreat centre near Malvern, UK. The first, a five-month course for women, begins in February. It will be followed by a similar course for men, running from September 2014 to January 2015. He says -

Seventh ‘Excellence Retreat’ held in India

He says - “The retreat was attended by more than 90 people and ran from 21st to 25th of December. These retreats are structured for professionals like doctors, engineers, IT professionals and high ranked government officials. Full Moon meditation raises over £1,000 for Indian Buddhist youth project

By lokabandhu on Wed, 23 Nov, 2011 - 05:24The November full moon saw young Triratna Buddhists around the UK and India meditating all night, many of them fundraising in aid of NNBY’s ‘Bihar Girls Project’ - which raised over UK £1,000 overnight! NNBY are Triratna’s Indian ‘National Network of Buddhist Youth’, active all over India but currently focusing on Bihar due to the extreme difficulties faced by the people there - and especially girls.
