On 22 March 2014 at the Guhyaloka Retreat Centre in the Spanish mountains two men - Vimokkhadipa and Silamani - were ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order by Public Preceptor Moksananda.

On Monday 19 June 2014 at Guhyaloka, the Triratna Retreat Centre in the Spanish mountains, 18 men from around the world were ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order. Here are photos of the men with their Public Preceptors - Buddhadasa, Nagabodhi, Saddhaloka and Paramabandhu.

Peter Kurisoo becomes Karunakara meaning “One who Acts with Compassion”. Private Preceptor Saramati.
Steven Caldwell becomes Bodhidasa meaning “He Who Is in the Service of Enlightenment”. Private Preceptor Ratnavyuha.
Aaron Matheson becomes Aryadharma meaning “Noble Dharma”. Private Preceptor Khemadhamma.

Public Preceptor Buddhadasa
Kevin Griffith becomes Karunamitra meaning “Compassionate Friend”. Private Preceptor Ratnavyuha.

By Munisha on Fri, 21 Jun, 2013 - 09:39At 90, Ratnasuri is far and away the oldest and most distinguished member of the resident community at Taraloka Buddhist Retreat Centre for Women, in Shropshire, UK.

To mark her 90th birthday, her friends published a book of her poetry, Shoes Full of Butterflies, which was launched at the recent UK and Ireland Area Order Weekend for Women, held at Taraloka earlier this month.
