The decision to engage with direct pointing probably came out of years of practice: meditation, careful action, study, reflection. Groundwork that opened you up, gave you the integrity, passion and clarity to put into the inquiry. I sometimes get asked what Christmas means to me as a practising Buddhist
I usually respond by saying that I see it as one of our major cultural events on the annual calendar and I celebrate and support it as a time when people and families come together in a spirit of love and generosity.

But we all know it can easily veer into mindless consumerism and over-eating and drinking.

I find the ‘Westfield Shopping Madness’ a little nauseating...
