The idea is to help create conditions to support people wanting to intensify their...

Buddhafield Total Immersion Meditation Retreat: Beloved on the Earth

Late Fragment by Raymond Carver
And did you get what
you wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth.

Buddhafield Photography

By Satyadarshin on Thu, 13 Jun, 2013 - 22:33I’ve recently uploaded a backlog of photos to the Buddhafield Flickr account.

I’ve been a consistent Buddhafield photographer since about 2010, when I bought a new Canon SX210 compact. I started because I was aware of a very serious lack of photos about the Buddhafield Café, with which I’ve volunteered and worked for about 14 years. I’d then recently taken on development of the Buddhafield website, www.buddhafield.com, which had been stuck in the...

New California Retreat Center

By rodashruti on Fri, 16 Nov, 2012 - 03:18“The meditator, having gone to the forest, to the shade of a tree, or to an empty building, sits down with legs folded crosswise, body held erect, and sets mindfulness to the fore.”
— the Anapanasati Sutta

Dear Friends:

There is a new Triratna Retreat Center emerging in the mountains of Northern California. Our vision is to create a simple place for people to continue to go forth into the forest, and to go for refuge to Buddha,...
