“The meditator, having gone to the forest, to the shade of a tree, or to an empty building, sits down with legs folded crosswise, body held erect, and sets mindfulness to the fore.”
— the Anapanasati Sutta

Dear Friends:

There is a new Triratna Retreat Center emerging in the mountains of Northern California. Our vision is to create a simple place for people to continue to go forth into the forest, and to go for refuge to Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

To make this vision possible, we need help from our friends in the wider Movement. With your participation, we hope to raise 10,000 US dollars in addition to our local fundraising to pay back purchase loans and continue developing the retreat center.

Please ACT TODAY and make a single donation. Any size gift is welcome from $10 to $10,000. Together we can do it!

Being physically far away from you, it would be a gift for our sangha to receive your blessings and encouragement in response to our appeal. Flowers and trees will be planted as a symbol of the dharma seeds you are planting in North America.

May all beings benefit.
