We celebrated Buddha Jayanti by getting new 36 men and women Dhammamitra. The ceremony took place on 10 May at Mahendranagar, Nagpur. Tejadhamma and Ratnodaya led the ceremony !

We celebrated Buddha Jayanti at Triratna Buddhist Community, Mahendranagar, Nagpur, India. Total 36 Men and Women became Dhammamitra on this celebration. The women were 25 and men 11 happily declared 3 declaration in presence of many Order Members, Mitras and friends at Center.

From the heartlands of Ancient Buddhism, order members and mitras will follow itineraries that attend the Order or Mitra conventions at Bodh Gaya, and take in the traditional pilgrimage sites of Shravasti, Kusinara, Lumbini, Vaishali and Sarnath, before combining to travel to Nagpur to explore...

Previously we have distributed free uniform to 60 Vadaar children who are entering now getting entrance in the main stream of education by the efforts of People to People. These children were begging in the past but now they are going to school to get education and feel a part of society like other children. Thanks to our donors who helped us to purchase the uniform for those children.
