This FBA Podcast is called ‘Training in the Six Paramitas: Shila - The Essence of Ethics’ by Padmavajra.

This is the fifth talk in a six-part series by Padmavajra exploring the Perfection of Wisdom and specifically the practice of the Six Perfections. The usual order of the practices is reversed, so here we turn to the key issue of “Ethics”.

Dharmabyte: Karma with a Twist

By Sadayasihi on Wed, 11 Apr, 2018 - 17:02

In this Dharmabyte podcast entitled, “Karma with a Twist”, Subhuti clearly describes how unwholesome mental states influence how we interpret our experience. This is why we begin with sila (ethics) on the path.

From the talk, Rambles Around the Yogachara: Talk 1, part of the series Rambles Around the Yogachara by Subhuti. The Yogachara school of Buddhist philosophy provides a comprehensive psychological overview of the workings of ‘consciousness’.

This talk introduces the...

from Munisha, European Safeguarding officer, Triratna

Dear Friends,

I’m sure, like me, you want to be absolutely sure Triratna is doing its Safeguarding properly, with sincerity and integrity. Over the last nine months I’ve read online much doubt and criticism in this area so I’d like to tell you about this work, so that you can decide for yourself.

The programme for Sheffield BAM 2017 is out!

By Khemasuri on Sat, 13 May, 2017 - 18:20

Building Sangha and supporting fellow Buddhists to step into and interact with the world is vital in this time of confusion. Promoting Buddhist values and principles through exemplification challenges cultural norms constructively and is a powerful practice. We know that our actions have consequences and although we may never see the results we can have confidence that we will make a difference.

We have arranged 6 mornings of meditation, talks and discussion to make more conscious the connections between our ethical commitment...

See the full post and media at https://thebuddhistcentre.com/highlights/buddhist-insights-veganism-ratnaprabha-french-and-english

Here is a little extract:
