The Valencia Sangha's Search for a New Home

The Triratna Order and Community have been present in Valencia for more than 30 years. Gift Aid Small Donation Scheme

Thanks to Padmadaka from The Karuna Trust for bringing this to our attention. In brief, if your Centre or group (if a registered charity) claims Gift Aid regularly (in at least 2 of the last 4 tax years), you can claim 25% on cash or contactless card payments which are donations at a religious/spiritual gathering of at least 10 people but not in exchange for some benefit (like a cup of tea). Karuna Looking for Volunteers for Phone Appeal

Karuna are looking for volunteers to join them for their telephone appeal, based in the Karuna office in North London as part of this year’s Buddhist Action Month.

Karuna works to end caste-based discrimination, poverty and inequality in India and Nepal. By providing tools, skills and support to grassroots organisations, Karuna can create community champions and build local networks.
