“After this I feel I can do anything in the whole world” - Vicki from Sheffield at the end of her 2018 spring Karuna appeal.  Karuna Appeals provide participants with an opportunity to connect with others and themselves, all while giving something back to the world.

Are you interested in going beyond who you think you are? To benefit the world during Buddhist Action Month (BAM)?  There are 2 spaces available in the next women’s appeal, from 2 June - 14 July.

Karuna works to end caste-based discrimination, poverty and inequality in India and Nepal. By providing tools, skills and support to grassroots organisations, Karuna can create community champions and build local networks. These networks then spread, benefiting even more people and sustaining the cycle of transformation.

Karuna appeals are perfect conditions to practice engaged Buddhism, a chance to take your practice deeper, give of yourself and make a life-changing difference to others.

Financial support available.  Email Erika for more information about the next women’s appeal in June: erika [at]
