It’s hoped that as many institutions are reflecting on systemic racism, we as a Buddhist community can reflect on how we can make Triratna more diverse, and our sanghas more reflective of the populations that live where some of our centers are situated.

On 25 June, from 19.00-21.00 (UK), Subhuti will be in conversation with Suryagupta, the Chair of the London Buddhist Centre, on the topic of race, caste and Buddhism. They will explore the themes personally, arriving at a distinctively Dharmic approach to race and Buddhism, with time for you to ask questions via the chat facility on their YouTube Livestream. All are invited to join the LBC Sangha for what promises to be a memorable and significant evening.
Day 5 saw us exploring the topic of gender diversity - who walks past our doors and how can we open up our Buddhist Centres to everyone? Dassini from Scotland is joined by Prajnasahaya from Germany and Prajnaketu from England to recap the day for us.
