Dear Order members 

It is sad to inform you that Dhammacharini Shraddhamati (Amaravati) passed away this afternoon around 1.30pm at her home. She was 75 years old and due to old age, she was on bed rest.

She was very polite and had an innocent smile on her face. She took ordination in January 2005 at the Bhaja retreat centre. Jnanasuri was her private preceptor and public ordination ceremony done by Karunamaya. She was doing Shakyamuni...
