Dear Order Members

We are delighted to announce a Public Ordination that took place at the Manchester Buddhist Centre on 23rd May 2021. The ceremony was conducted in the Lotus Hall with a restricted number of sangha and family members attending. 

The new Dharmachari was privately ordained on a private retreat with his preceptor Aparājita, and the Public Preceptor was Padmavajra:

Barrie Stanhope from Southport, in North-West England, becomes Buddhamaitrī. He who has the friendliness of the Buddha.

Amoghasiddhi Mantra

The Amoghasiddhi mantra recorded and led by Munisha on 14th September 2014 in the shrine room at Adhisthana, during an ordination reunion retreat for women ordained at Il Convento in 2003. This setting created by Munisha during the summer ordination retreat at Akashavana, 2012. The tune is inspired by Spanish medieval dance rhythms. Om Amoghasiddhi Ah Hum!

In Nagpur, People to People is working for various people who are suffering in Second Wave of Corona and Lockdown. In this lockdown, many people lost their daily earnings, that affect badly on their life. There is no food as earning stopped on daily basis. 

Our “cooked food distribution” team is helping many and they helped to transgender community also who genuinly need food.
