Buddhism and Politics

From Buddhist Centre Features on Sun, 3 Sep, 2023 - 11:50

Is it possible to engage in politics as a Buddhist? What might it look like - and not look like - if we do?

Our guests this week come together for a thoughtful, provocative conversation occasioned by Vishvapani‘s recent article for Tricycle Buddhist review looking at the arresting, perhaps astonishing, fact that one of the most powerful people in the UK – Home Secretary Suella Braverman - is also faithfully involved as a Buddhist practitioner within the context of the Triratna...

Las Tres Joyas del Despertar

From on Wed, 6 Sep, 2023 - 14:30

Sharing some significant Order Events

From Order Connection on Mon, 4 Sep, 2023 - 17:04

Two events significant to the International Order took place on the UK & Ireland Area Order Weekend, held at Adhisthana on 17–20 August. We recorded both events so as to share them with the whole Order – it was not straightforward to live stream them as they were part of a bigger event. Around 280 Order Members were present – the largest gathering of Order Members at Adhisthana since Bhante’s funeral.
