Ashokashuri died on Wednesday night, 26th September. She was ordained in 2002 at Tiratanaloka by Ratnadharini (private preceptor) and Dhammadinna (public preceptor).

Ashokashuri had a history of ill health, and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer fairly recently. She was in hospital a couple of times, but was able to be cared for at her family home until her death. Her son - who lives in the USA - was able to spend a final week with her. Her husband and...
