Utilizing a teaching that the Buddha passed on to his foster mother and aunt, Mahaprajapati, we will explore the particular challenges presented by the modern world to a life of Dharma practice. Participants will create personal precepts to help engage creatively with these challenges. Led by Suddhayu, offered by donation, $40-20 suggested.

We successfully moved to our new home at 84 Pleasant Street, just a block from Market Square, in the fall of 2013. Since then we’ve invested in a number of improvements to make our space more comfortable, including creation of a kitchen area, a gift shop, shelving for cushions, and installation of a portable air conditioner.

This workshop presents a great opportunity to take your practice deeper. We will have ample time to meditate and to discuss meditation practice. The workshop will be tuned towards the participants’ particular challenges and interests.
Open meditation will still happen from 10-11 am. Those wishing to stay for the intensive workshop may do so.
