In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts: A Day Retreat for those in Recovery November 7, 10-3 pm
It’s natural for us to seek comfort from the pain in our lives. In doing so we often develop strong habits that are largely unconscious and can lead to varying degrees of obsession, compulsion and addiction. This is known in Buddhism as the realm of Hungry Ghosts – where we can never be satisfied even when we are surrounded by enough.
Our next Introduction to Meditation will be on October 17, 10-1 pm. Come to learn a foundational mindfulness meditation practice that you can build on and deepen for years to come. Offered by donation, $40-20. All are welcome!

Our new session begins next week. Here’s what we’ve got lined up:
On Tuesday the 8th we start the eight week “Life with full attention” which starts at 7pm and ends at 9.30pm (£130/£60 inc book). It is apropriate for for all who have some experience of meditation. It is great for mitras and Order members as well.
There is a six week Saturday morning meditation class starting on Saturday the 19th September, 10.30-12.30. (£66/£33)
