To begin this essay I’d like to turn to two teachings, the first from the Buddha, the second from the Financial Times.

In the Canki Sutta the Buddha explains that a person preserves truth when they state merely what they believe, but they do not jump to the conclusion, nor do they insist, that what they believe is definitely true and anything else contrary to it, is false.
