On April 4th we celebrated 53 years of the Order. During our weekly Bodhicitta Practice that week, Paramartha kindly gave a short talk about the practice and the Order’s anniversary, which you can re-watch here. 

Also available is this puja led by Santavajri and some of the Tiratanaloka team following the practice, including some beautiful sitar music from Vandanajyoti.

Dear brothers and sisters,

It is sad to inform you that Dhammachari Prasannamitra passed away on 20th April 2021 around 5.00 am. He was 53 years old. His funeral took place today from his home. For some years the doctor has diagnosed that due to some infection his liver was damaged and he was taking treatment. Recently he found coronavirus positive and due to this pandemic, it was difficult to get proper treatment.

From the beginning, Prasannamitra was very much engaged with the Ambedkarite...

When I was preparing a talk about Adhisthana and Internationality for the Triratna Day celebrations it brought to mind that I had failed to inform the Order of the resignation of Dharmacharini Taramati from Valencia, Spain.

Ex-Taramati resigned in Spring 2019 after conversations and communication with her private preceptor Paramachitta and myself. Although we verbally accepted the resignation, I had wanted to meet with her face to face for a conversation...
