This is an extraordinary occasion, as it marks the first ordination ceremony at Sudarshanbhumi and 500 people witnessed the public ordination ceremony.

Dear Order Members,

Dharmacharini Padmachitta died peacefully last night, 21st Feb 2024 at her home in Östersund, Sweden, with her husbond Olle and her two daughters present.

Padmachitta was a remarkable woman. She has had a huge influence on Triratna in Sweden and an enormous effect on many peoples lives. 

The very first Swedish Dharmacharini, she was ordained at Il Convento in Tuscany in 2001, with Ratnadharini as her private preceptor and Dhammadinna...
