During the day we had a particular focus on the plans and ideas of moving towards a New Buddhist centre. The ‘New centre team’ gave short presentations.

A Celebration of Community

From Portsmouth Buddhist Center on Sat, 24 Nov, 2012 - 22:58Join us for a Celebration of Community on Wednesday, November 28th, 7 - 9 pm

The full moon in November marks what is known as Sangha day on the Buddhist calendar. This is a time to rejoice in collective practice, and to remember the great spiritual heroes of the past.

The evening will include meditation, some readings regarding the early disciples of the Buddha, and a puja (devotional ritual).
