This is to inform you of upcoming changes to the spelling and grammar of the Pali of some of the Ten Precepts.
Below are several extracts from a letter Saddhaloka sent to the International Council explaining the process and arrangements for these changes.

Last year Avikara in Wellington, New Zealand was diagnosed with systemic mastocyosis, a cancer of the blood. The treatment didn’t work and his health has slowly deteriorated; he has gone from walking with a stick, to using a walking frame, and more recently to being in bed at home. Now he is in bed at the hospice.
Over the last week and especially over the last few days, he has become much weaker and very sick....
