There seem to be more and more funerals happening at Triratna Buddhist Centres. This trend, sadly, is likely to continue indefinitely. The London Buddhist Centre have produced a very useful Guide to Funerals at the LBC which can be downloaded here.

Some of the names and businesses referred to may have changed since this was produced.

Here are some of the ways Triratna is active in inter-Buddhist networking: 

• In the UK it is an active member of the NBO (Network of Buddhist Organisations), with Dhammarati and Lokabandhu on the Activities committee – Munisha also attends as a representative from ClearVision. The NBO is a well-respected UK umbrella group.

Triratna Links system
Pretty much every Triratna website will have a ‘links’ page to other Centres around Triratna. The details keep changing and need to be kept up to date – but that’s quite a job. We’re developing a set of ‘model policies’ for consideration by Triratna Centres. They have been edited from policies used by Windhorse:Evolution, Karuna, the Birmingham and London Buddhist Centres, and others – we’re grateful to them for permission to reproduce them here. 

Please note that you will need to check for yourself that the policies suggested here will meet your needs and that they satisfy current legislation.
