In the Safeguarding update I published on Triratna News on 22nd November, I mentioned that Triratna now has a publicly accountable ‘Panel process’ for addressing allegations of serious ethical misconduct. This has been published by Triratna’s Ethics kula (including the Safeguarding team): Saddhaloka, Parami, Lokeshvara, Jnanasiddhi, Munisha and Amaladipa.

The Triratna Panel process was developed over a number of months during 2018.

Amaravati monastery marks Bhante's death

At Amaravati Buddhist Monastery in Hertfordshire, UK, the evening chanting on the day after Bhante’s funeral was dedicated to him.

Amaravati is a monastery in the Thai Forest Tradition, run by the English Sangha Trust, who owned the Hampstead Buddhist Vihara where Bhante lived in the 1960s.
