A place is becoming available in the Bristol Women’s Community, Kalyanaloka, from 1st March 2020.

We are looking for a Mitra or Order member who would like to join us, to live with three others.

We’re in a spacious house 5 minutes from the Bristol Buddhist Centre, near the vibrant Gloucester Road.  Easy access to public transport.  Our own shrine room where we meditate together.  We’re a warm, welcoming vegetarian/vegan household.  £443 pcm for rent and bills. £4 per day for food.

Nous y sommes presque… après des semaines de suivi des travaux (qui bien sûr n’ont pas du tout avancé aussi vite que prévu), et des heures passées - même le soir parfois - par les uns et les autres ces dernières semaines pour les aménagements intérieurs et les finitions, le nouveau “Centre bouddhiste Triranta de Paris” est presque prêt.

The end of September saw, as usual, the annual gatherings of the European Buddhist Union, and Buddhist Teachers in Europe.

This year the venue was Sangha Activa, a Spanish group in the Sakya lineage of the Vajrayana Tibetan tradition in the countryside an hour north of Barcelona. I attended both meetings as Triratna’s Liaison officer and Vajratara (who lives and works at Tiratanaloka) joined me for the Buddhist Teachers in Europe.
