An introduction to Buddhist meditation

Abhayanandi is offering an introduction to meditation session on the Saturday afternoon 3.45 - 5.45pm. This might be especially welcome to those who are not at their best and brightest at 7am in the morning,  when there will also be an introductory session on the Friday 25th.

Abyahanandi lives and works in London around the London Buddhist Centre; she is a trustee at the Buddhist Centre and a member of the Lama Pyjama’s team, the LBC’s charity shop on Roman road.   

Resignation of Amalamani

Dear Order Members,

Amalamani was ordained at Il Convento, Italy, in 2003, with Padmasuri as her private preceptor and myself as her public preceptor. She recently wrote to both of us, saying that she wished to resign from the Order, and after conferring with Padmasuri I have accepted her resignation.

A Complex Personality: A Note - a new piece of writing by Sangharakshita

In his personal statement issued on December 30th 2016 Sangharakshita said, among other things: 

1. that the FWBO/Triratna sometimes bore the marks not of the Dharma but of his own particular personality;

Launch of new online space for Triratna Buddhist Families

We recently launched a new space for Triratna Buddhist Families. 

The Triratna Buddhist Parents Network Facebook page has been providing invaluable support for many parents practising in Triratna. In response to recent discussions on that group, our own Rijupatha on the The Buddhist Centre Online team (and dad of two), has set up a project space on our website to:

• Provide further opportunities for children, parents (and grandparents!) to connect and network to discuss their Dharma lives within Triratna.
