Vessantara is one of Triratna’s most experienced retreat and meditation leaders. He is also a very good storyteller. He shows us that we can find...

I confess, when I sat down to record this podcast yesterday I somehow didn’t expect it to have the impact it did. I’d seen all the news stories, shaken my head, wondered at how human beings can meet such complex, painful realities as what’s unfolding in India right now. But here they were - my friends - talking about what I can do about it. What you can do too.
We’re spending a week - in whatever ways we can...
One of the biggest challenges we’ve heard people talk about this past couple of weeks is how to structure long days at home when the box-sets run out and they’re all done with Zoom meetings…
We’re here to help! Every two weeks, starting Friday April 3, we’ll be bringing you a series of week-long Home Retreats.
The idea is simple. We provide excellent, free materials on a great, down-to-earth Dharma theme all week long – you show up each day with your practice and connect with others in whatever way you can.
Ratnaprabha will be leading this beautiful puja compiled from Pali Canon sources by Maitrisiddhi of Taraloka retreat centre. We will meditate from 19:30, with the puja starting at about 19:55, but please sign in about 19:00 if you can, so the participants can all say hello! I will explain how online puja and chanting works. Use the Zoom login below.

Most people would agree that it’s wise to take a non-violent approach to life. How can we fully live from a place deeply rooted in this core Buddhist principle? We do so by gently turning towards, listening deeply and engaging whole-heartedly with our own diverse inner landscape,...
We find ourselves in an unprecedented situation. There is a lot to respond to, to think about and to process. Staying at home, you might well be spending more time online than ever. Perhaps your thoughts and emotions have taken on the pace and tone of newsfeeds and daily data: quick, scattered, and emotionally overwhelming.
