Wanted: English teacher for young Triratna Buddhists in India

This will help to lift them and their families out of poverty, and overcome the crippling disadvantages of caste. English is essential to success.

The Power of Sangha!

By Carol Robertson on Thu, 20 Sep, 2012 - 19:41As part of our rejuvenation of the Croydon Buddhist Centre, we’ve been organising a number of work days where members of our sangha can come and help paint, clean, beautify and generally bring energy and metta to the building. Last work day we had great fun painting in the library, garden, fixing a leaky roof and stripping walls in the office. As we’ve a lot more that needs done, we’re organising another work day on Sunday 14th October from 10.30am...

Sangha works! Help repaint the shop

By jvalamalini on Tue, 7 Aug, 2012 - 00:10If you’d like to give some time to help the Centre, we need volunteers this Wednesday and Thursday to help with the shop redecoration project. The floor is looking lovely, many thanks to Martin & Kumuda; now we’d like the walls refreshed. It can be fun to work together, and satisfying to feel you’ve made a difference. We have 2 hour sessions from 10.30 and 2.00 each day - let us know if you could help.
