We are happy to be arranging our Third Transgender Retreat soon with the help of some fundraising!

In 2021 Shuan Bartone became a Mitra through the Boston Sangha and Triratna Gender Diverse Buddhists. A year later, He started working on a project to record a song about Dr. Ambedkar, called ‘Babasaheb’, which is released on BandCamp.

Triratna has many Facebook pages, personal and collective. Padmavyuha (UK) writes with news about one of the newest, with already nearly 90 members.

The Triratna gender-diverse Buddhist Facebook group  is “open to anyone who experiences or identifies themselves as (for example) trans, intersex, genderqueer, gender-questioning or genderless. It’s open to our allies too; anyone who wants to support us better.”

Vajradarshini is the new Chair of Triratna’s Stockholm Buddhist Centre. 

She writes: “Last month the Stockholm sangha held its first LGBTQ (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer/questioning; known in Swedish as HBTQ) retreat, hoisting a rainbow flag at Dharmagiri, our retreat centre north of Stockholm.
