As most of you know the situation in India is again becoming desperate.
This second wave of COVID-19 is spreading faster; infection rates are more than double than at the previous peak and health facilities are being overwhelmed. Night curfews and local lockdowns are still paralysing many states, with devastating consequences for migrant workers. As before, it is the most vulnerable and marginalised people suffering most.
The second wave of covid is causing poverty, distress and death in India. Very sadly we have lost several members of the Order to covid in recent days. Currently 15 Order members are unwell with covid to the point of needing medicines and / or oxygen. With public health supplies running low, these things need to be paid for privately. We want to send £150 to each of these Order members to give them this ability.

In this Cafe, children join and enjoy to spend time with each other, develop their friendship also build up stage daring.
We celebrated the Savitribai Fule’s Birth Anniversary at our Gagdebaba Learning Club at Amravati Project with parents and students. The Savitribai is a great revolutionary for the women’s education. She opened First School for women in India in the time when women were not allowed education.
On this occasion we distributed Educational Material to the children for study. Abhayanavita talked on Savitribai’s life and work. Sarika Patil who is Shikshanmitra (Friend of Education) organized this event.
