In October 2016, young Triratna Buddhists from around the world gathered in India to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first mass conversions of Dalits (ex-Untouchable Indians) to Buddhism to escape the horrors of the Hindu caste system, inspired by their great leader Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

Come with us to the place of that great historical event - the Diksha Bhumi! Rise Up! Reach Out!

This Sunday, September 18, 10AM-12PM, we will conclude our series on going for refuge to the Three Jewels of Buddhism by considering how we are supported by the community of people, like ourselves, who are exploring the spiritual path laid out by the Buddha. We will begin the morning with a period of meditation and conclude with a Threefold Puja – a short, collective, recitation of verses celebrating the Three Jewels. All are welcome. We will meditate together, then explore these questions and more as we look at the Buddhist Threefold Path of Ethics, Meditation and Wisdom, starting this Sunday, July 31, at 10AM and continuing each Sunday through August 21.
