Wanted: English teacher for young Triratna Buddhists in India

By Munisha on Mon, 22 Sep, 2014 - 18:05We are looking for someone to teach English as a Second Language (TESL) to young Indians from poor families, including a community of 10 young men, who are training in computer skills at the Aryaloka Computer Institute to prepare them for employment. This will help to lift them and their families out of poverty, and overcome the crippling disadvantages of caste. English is essential to success.

And a rousing evocation of why the International Council represents something vital to the sangha in India and is, indeed, the flowering of Dr. Ambedkar’s vision for the Dalit community.
