ATULA’S ANNALS:
-
In 1968 I was in my hometown, Whitstable, Kent, struggling as a self-employed carpenter. Getting myself into terrible debt.
-
In 1978 I was living and working on-site as the foreman and worker (mainly worker!) in the Sukhavati/Old Fire Station/LBC building project. It was the last phase. I’d been involved with the ‘Friends’ for 7-8 years and ordained 2 years. Some time after this I began leading twice-weekly study groups on the prophetic books of William Blake with Prakasha for a long time.
-
In 1988 Prakasha and I began doing a psychosynthesis training course together. (1988-1995).
-
In 1998 I was running mixed retreats at Rivendell, leading group work and working as a therapist.
-
In 2008 I was doing similar things to 1998. I’d also ordained Cittavasin and Nagasamaya in [?2004], when I was 60.
-
In 2018 I’m doing similar things to 2008 and 1998, but I’ve also been running the ‘River of Soul’ courses [‘An in depth series of workshops to experience soul and healing through myth, poetry and fairy tale.’]. I’ve been President of the West London Buddhist Centre for 2 years.
Atula: What started it for you?
