Please help America and Johana, two mitras from Venezuela, to travel to Spain for an ordination training retreat.

They both live in Mérida, in the Venezuelan Andes. They have an invitation to an ordination training retreat in Spain. However, they will never be able to afford the travel and retreat expenses because of the circumstances in their country.

You are probably aware that Aryajaya formally put down her responsibility as International Order Convenor (IOC) at the end of January 2025, during the International Convention in Bodhgaya.

Back in April 2024, we launched a process to find and appoint her successor, and one year later Satyalila was appointed.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dhammachari Padmamitra on 15th September 2025. Born on 16th June 1947, he dedicated his life to the Dhamma and passed away peacefully at 6:30am at his home in Nanded, Maharashtra, India.

Padmamitra was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order on 14th October 2018 by Private Preceptor Jnanadhavaja and Public Preceptor Yashosagar. He remained deeply committed to the path of wisdom and compassion throughout...
