Forthcoming Ordination in Newcastle, UK

 Dear Order Members,
 
I am delighted to let you know that Norman Powell will have his Public Ordination at the Newcastle Buddhist Centre in the UK on Saturday 28th September at 2.00pm

The Private Ordination will take place in the course of this week during a short retreat. The Private Preceptor will be Akuppa and the Public Preceptor Padmavajra.

We recently hosted the UK and Ireland Combined Area Order Weekend at Adhisthana, which was an uplifting event attended by over 300 people, including many guests from at least four other Areas.

The Dharma programme was again run by the Adhisthana Teaching Community, on the topic of “Thus have I heard…” As well as a variety of study led by members of the Teaching Community, there were two keynote talks. We thought...
