batik sangha art at the international gathering

From Triratna International Gathering 2017 - What The World Needs Now on Thu, 18 May, 2017 - 15:12

A beautiful aspect of the International Gathering of 2014 was the collective and collaborative creation of a beautiful backdrop to the shrine.

We are lucky to Sarah Jones, the artist, come back to the Gathering this year to help create something just as beautiful, with the plan to involve as many people as possible help make it! Except that she will not be called ‘Sarah Jones’ anymore as at this very moment she is at Akashavana, the women’s ordination retreat centre, and will be...

Como Las Enseñanzas Budistas Pueden Ayudarnos En Las Adidciones

From Centro Budista de Valencia on Thu, 18 May, 2017 - 01:00

invitation to a post-prandial pulchritude!

From Triratna International Gathering 2017 - What The World Needs Now on Wed, 17 May, 2017 - 16:45

Who could resist calling an event a post-prandial pulchritude? Not I  …

An alternative title for this event could be ‘The Culture Hour’ and refers to the time after lunch, from 2.30-3.30pm during the International Gathering, when we will be offered cultural delights and feasts for the senses, after we have partaken in the more earthly feast for the body in form of Buddhafield catering.

Vidyaruci is hosting this event and so far he can confirm the offering for Saturday 26th August:

“Classical Piano with Akashadeva. Akashadeva is...
