We are lucky to have Saccanama, who lives at Adhisthana, offering a study group at the International Gathering on the theme of “Faith versus secular Buddhism”.

He says about the study theme - “Secular Buddhism is a widespread influence in the modern world. In this study group we will ask whether it’s really the Dharma. What are the consequences of practice without the faculties of faith and Imagination?

Saccanama works for the Preceptors’ College and co-leads some of the residential courses there. He also developed the Dharma Training Course for Mitras.

It’s going to be a closed study group for a limited number of people, so people are asked to sign up for all of the three afternoons of the Gathering to make for depth and continuity of discussion - it should be quite a treat!
