The Valencia Sangha's Search for a New Home

The Triratna Order and Community have been present in Valencia for more than 30 years. From simple beginnings the sangha has grown and become a feature of the life of the city, offering a chance to discover and explore the benefits of meditation on its own or in the context of a more committed Buddhist practice. Over the years the Valencia Buddhist Centre has reached many people with the Buddha’s teaching.

Triratna’s sangha in Barcelona, Spain, bought their first Buddhist Centre last year. Just six weeks from opening they are working hard. They still need to raise €15,000. 

Sugarbha writes: “This is a really exciting project for Triratna Barcelona. Thanks to a legacy donation, in summer 2016 we secured a mortgage and purchased a building to convert into a centre. This is obviously a huge step forward for us, and for Triratna in mainland Europe.
