Granting Bhante’s Wish

Windhorse Publishing is raising £90,000 to ensure the completion of Sangharakshita’s Complete Works.

At last Sunday’s order weekend, Maitreyabandhu asked everyone to give £250. This raised 20,000 in pledges from 75 people, an average of over £250 each.

Together we can do this, let’s keep that momentum going. £21,700 has been raised so far, with pledges being fulfilled daily, please visit the following link and give generously.

FutureDharma supporters have brought Roma Buddhists from Hungary together with those from Belgium, India and Holland. Metta Vihara Retreat Centre recently hosted a unique Bodhisattva Ideal retreat, connecting Sangha members from across the world.

Hungarian gypsies, known as the Roma community, have a deep connection with the Dalits of India. Both communities are segregated, unable to get access to education or employment, and are treated like lesser humans. Future Dharma Fund launches #Triratna50 Appeal

Exactly 50 years ago today Urgyen Sangharakshita dedicated the Triratna Meditation and Shrine room (yes it was called Triratna!) in a basement below a shop in Covent Garden.

So many lives have been transformed by the Buddhist movement that grew from that simple ceremony. 

Today FutureDharma Fund launches the Triratna50 Appeal will raise £500,000 this year to ensure that Triratna’s contribution to the world in its second 50 years is as extraordinary as in its first.
