Sharing High Quality Dharma Teaching (One World, One Sangha)On Fri, 29 October, 2021 - 05:00
Wherever we are in the world, whether we attend a busy urban Buddhist centre or a small group, we can be sure that we’re receiving an integrated spiritual training from when we first attend a beginners course, right up until we join the Order.
This is due in large part to the Sikkha Project which provides online teaching resources so that our Buddhist Centres can teach as effectively as possible.
During the pandemic The Sikkha Project really rose to the challenge of supporting our teaching Centres through the extra challenges presented by the pandemic. They hosted many fanatastic seminars which are now available as recordings for all our Buddhist Centres and Groups to use.
Maitryeabandhu and Suryanaga gave seminars on how to get your centre online during lockdown, and reach new people seeking the Dharma. FutureDharma’s Kusaladevi and Sanghamani gave fundraising training, and Vidyamala taught practical mindfulness and compassion techniques to our centre teams stay well and happy whilst responding to the needs of the world.
I really want us, in all our Centres and in all our Groups, to be as well equipped as possible to bring the Dharma to people. I think this is a watershed moment for our community. - Vajrashura, The Sikkha Project
The Sikkha Project is funded entirely by FutureDharma supporters and overseen by the International Council, which is also funded entirely by gifts from our supporters.
This is One World. Together we are One Sangha.
Will you give £50 so that our International Sangha can keep reaching out to more people than ever before?
