The Order Bodhicitta Practice OM

From Community Highlights on Sun, 19 Apr, 2020 - 10:12

Here’s a snippet from the Order Bodhicitta practice this morning, led by Subhuti, with around 300 of the Order gathered together.

In the face of global dukkha, as well as doing all we can to take care of ourselves and those around us, there is another dimension we can occupy together. This particular meditation practice explicitly connects us to each other and to our shared aspiration to be of benefit to all beings.

To make it possible for any Order member worldwide to take...

A story from Kalimpong…

Sangharakshita shares a story from Kalimpong about being woken up in the middle of the night to a very strange occurrence – he saw a dear friend who had passed several years earlier standing in a deep pit next to his bed. His response was to chant the Vajrasattva Mantra.

Something Lovely

From Exeter Triratna Group on Sun, 19 Apr, 2020 - 18:18

SOMETHING LOVELY

And people stayed home

and read books and listened

and rested and exercised

and made art and played

and learned new ways of being

and were still

and listened more deeply

someone meditated

someone prayed

someone danced

someone met their own shadow

and people started thinking differently—-

And people healed…

And in the absence of people who lived in ignorant ways

dangerous, mindless, and heartless….

The earth began to heal—

And when the danger ended

and people found themselves…

They grieved for the dead

and they made new choices

and dreamed of new visions

and created new ways to live

and heal the earth fully

just as they had been healed.
