Letting Go Of Fear

From Buddhist Centre Features on Tue, 18 Aug, 2020 - 18:20

It’s a scary world sometimes. So how can we become fearless ourselves?

This is a beautiful animated film by Aryajit about how to face our fears and...

The Buddha, mindfulness and politics

From Shabda Articles on Tue, 18 Aug, 2020 - 09:29

In this talk I explore how the Four Foundations of Mindfulness can be used to contextualise political and religious topics such as dogmatism, utopian idealism, the ad hominem argument, and superstition versus genuine devotion within the Buddhist context. The idea of views as ‘deeply ingrained attitudes’ is further explored.
