Death of Asangamitra

From Order Connection on Tue, 11 Jul, 2023 - 18:20

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Sangha,

It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the passing of Dhammachari Asangamitra from Aurangabad on Friday 7th July at the age of 83. He peacefully succumbed to old age after being on bed rest for several months. Prior to his departure, a few Order members had visited him and reported that he was in a good mental state, wearing a smile on his face, and seemed content with his life.

The Mindful Teacher's Handbook

From Taraloka Retreat Centre on Fri, 7 Jul, 2023 - 13:09

Last year, Kamalagita published The Mindful Teacher’s Handbook, a brilliant resource for teachers who are looking to resource themselves. In this interview, she speaks with Natalia (also a former teacher) about her book, about her years of experience as a Buddhist practitioner, teacher and teacher trainer, and about ways in which we ALL can develop deeper resources to help us meet the challenges life throws at us.
