Ratnadharini has been encouraging the College deputies to write this monthly letter occasionally, so I agreed to take the plunge this month!

July started with an international, online weekend meeting of the College. Since I became a public preceptor in 2015 the College has met twice a year in March and November so it is a new development to meet in the summer. Though the second wave of Covid-19 and lockdown have been abating, we are still working on relief work in slums of Kamptee, Nagpur, India.

Here, daily wagers are still finding it difficult to get jobs, and earnings to manage their everyday lives. It is difficult for them to cope with the expenses for children’s online classes/school, food, and other necessary things. People are in need of help.
