Day off yesterday! Thanks to my 94 year old mum, who fed me, washed my clothes, and generously contributed to the fundraising (as did my sister). I’m buoyed up by all the support - financial and otherwise; this pilgrimage - and Tiratanaloka Unlimited - is clearly of interest to many. Day Two: Shepperton to Windsor (although I’m actually staying across the bridge in Eton) - still following the Thames. ‘Only’ 14.5 miles, but it felt as strenuous as yesterday’s 17; so I’m nervous about tomorrow’s 18. I’ll start early, but there’s no avoiding the heat. I’ve got a great rain/sun hat, and am carrying lots of water. Really appreciate the video messages from friends!
