Opportunity to share the Dharma in Wellington

If you’re an enthusiastic younger Order member who’s looking for a change, think about visiting Wellington for four months or longer and helping us out at the Wellington Buddhist Centre. We can offer rent free accommodation and living expenses, plus the use of Achala’s car for the five months of 2019 that he’ll be away. As you’d be staying in Achala’s house, we’d prefer it if you can come before he leaves in early July....

The deadline for submissions is Friday 30th November, so if you haven’t already, please do share your feelings of gratitude for the life of Urgyen Sangharakshita. To remind you, here are the criteria and means of submission:

Because the book will be professionally bound we ask you to follow these following simple instructions. The page will need to be:

A4
Landscape (wider than it is tall)
Plain paper
Left hand margin of 25mm to allow for binding
Right hand margin 20mm for balance

Upekshaka (Ray McMurray) has sent me his letter of resignation from the Order. Some months ago he wrote to Surata (his private preceptor) and myself (his public preceptor) telling us of his intention to resign. After some correspondence, he decided to wait a little longer before finally taking the decision to resign. He has now taken that decision and I have accepted his resignation. I have wished him well for the future.
