A good friend has just died. Death is in the air. Part Four of the Great Ocean series languishes on the bench. And so I gave myself up to play, in just a couple of hours I found the footage, laid in the music and found myself very moved. I might refine it at some point.

I’m delighted to say that the College of Public Preceptors has appointed Yashodeva as a Public Preceptor.

Yashodeva was ordained in 1981 and is now 59. He lived at Guhyaloka for 12 years, which is where he began working with men who were training for ordination, and has continued to be involved with GFR retreats in Spain since moving to Adhisthana eight years ago. To mark the first anniversary of the opening weekend, we present a picture show: Adhisthana at high summer.

Amid Herefordshire’s wonderful landscape, the Sangharakshita Memorial Library is gradually taking shape. The building will eventually house Bhante’s library and an exhibition space.
