The College of Public Preceptors is delighted to announce the appointment of Vajratara as a Public Preceptor.

Vajratara is 43 years old. She encountered the Dharma while still at school, was ordained in 2004, and became a private preceptor in 2016. She was in Sheffield for many years where she lived in a community, worked in the Evolution shop, and then taught at the Centre. Concert tour for Manchester mitra and violinist Olivia Moore

Olivia Moore is a Manchester mitra and violinist specializing in jazz and Indian classical violin. Her band, Unfurl, a five-piece “Indian-style jazz band” recently received funding from Jazz North to do a set of gigs in the Midlands and northern England. (See tour dates below.)

First mainland European Going For Refuge retreat for women

This September, the Tiratanaloka team from Wales, UK, will join Order members from continental Europe to run an international ‘Going For Refuge’ retreat for women on mainland Europe for the first time.
