By Munisha on Fri, 13 Sep, 2013 - 00:29Triratna Buddhists took part in the UK’s Buddhist Action Month (BAM) in July this year. Linked to the festival of Dharma Day, BAM is sponsored by the Network of Buddhist Organisations UK (NBO).

July 2012 saw the UK’s first Buddhist Action Day (BAD), with the environmental theme Earthkind. It was such a success, the NBO decided to make it last a whole month this year and repeat the theme...

July is Buddhist Action Month UK

July is Buddhist Action Month in Britain. Centred on the festival of Dharma Day, this year’s theme is Earthkind: caring for the Environment. Across the country, Buddhists and others will be guerrilla-gardening, litter-picking, tree-planting and lots of other things.
